In a race

Snail
He cannot fly.

He cannot hop.

He cannot run at all.

But you should see

The way he goes

Slowly up the wall.

He cannot skip

Or race about.

He has one way to go;

And as I watched him

I must say

He's good at going slow.

Poem taken from here

Sometimes we are slow in our journey of life. But one thing we can learn from the snail in the poem : It knows where it is going and is going steadily. For me, I know I am going for Gold, going for God all the way.

1 Corinthians 9:23-25
23 I do all this for the sake of the gospel, that I may share in its blessings.
24Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way as to get the prize.
25Everyone who competes in the games goes into strict training. They do it to get a crown that will not last; but we do it to get a crown that will last forever.
